It's been over 20 years since PJ was struck by a paintball in the iconic school soap Byker Grove. Fortunately paintball safety has improved dramatically since then. All kids are issued with padded combat suits and safety goggles as standard when visiting a Paintball UK centre. The combat suits come complete with high collars for neck protection and the safety goggles are designed to protect the entire head. This high level of protection can be further increased with the purchase of body armour and armoured gloves, available from the basecamp shop.
