Does paintballing hurt?

With the introduction of body armour and a built in padded collar in the combat suit provided at national paintball centres, players can play paintball in comfort and with increased protection – however you may come home with harmless bruises. Wearing long sleeve shirts and trousers will also go a long way to absorbing the impact of a paintball and reduce the risk of bruising.

Can we bring alcohol?

Alcohol is strictly prohibited at all paintball centres. Any players who have been drinking or appear to be under the influence will be excluded from the games and may be asked to leave the paintball centre.

Can I bring my own paintball equipment?

may bring certain items of your own paintball equipment to national paintball centres, however it is completely at the discretion of the Centre Manager whether you will be able to use them on the day of your event. Players can only use their own marker if they have arranged a private event, if it can operate from the gas canisters provided at the centre, and if it passes a chronograph test. We do not allow players to bring their own gas cylinders to the paintball centre.

How can I play with just my own group?

If you book 40 or more players at national paintball centre, you will be entitled to a private game. Should you wish to arrange a private paintball game for less than 40 people, please contact our event co-ordinators on 0844 815 1755 and they will put a tailored package together for your group.

Is food and drink available at the centre?

All national paintball centres offer a freshly cooked lunch for purchase on the day of your event or in advance. In addition, the paintball shops at national venues sell a variety of crisps, sweets and drinks. Call 0844 815 1755 to pre-order your lunch. How many paintballs do we need?

Paintball usage varies from person to person; some people may choose to be ‘snipers’ and aim for specific targets whereas others go all-out ‘Rambo’! On average, players spending a full day at one of our venues can to use between 400-600 paintballs, but it is completely down to personal preference.

How are teams selected?

Paintball is enjoyed by people of all ages for birthdays, family fun days out, stag & hen parties or corporate functions. We aim to combine players of similar ages together, however, there are often groups of mixed ages (when parents like to play with their children, or there are older siblings joining in).

What happens if it rains?

Whatever the weather, all paintball matches will go ahead. All our game zones are outdoors but there are sheltered areas available in the base camp where you can rest in between games.
